Next up is to finish the trunk , build side walls, and box around the amps ..

The plan is to have the amps and battery in the trunk completely hidden.

I'm going to replace the old alpine v12 to another alpine pdx f4 or f6..

you did a great job

I use a single 15" 9515G DD , driver up , port to drivers side rear corner

3.4 net cubes at 30 hertz

3500 watts @ .5 ohm

its kills the lows

i have another enclosure same size, driver & port up 40 hertz , off the same power doing 150 db sealed on the TL

if you ever meter that be curios what it does

Well this might be a decade late, but I just wanted to say thanks for uploading all of the information about your build.

I used your enclosure ideas and design and did basically the exact same thing in my 2007 350z.

The enclosure design and measurements I made as close to what you did as possible, and it just barely fits! You did a great job on measuring what was possible to fit in there.

The thing is absolutely savage though on a Taramps 5000.1 powering a couple of Shok Industries Elite X 15"s (dvc2's). The side mirrors flap like bird wings and my actual vision goes blurry... easily over 150db. My old system clocked in high 140s with a couple of 12"s on a 3k sundown, but this blows it out of the water!

Currently the install is playing but in a "test fit" install, so I will be pulling it all out again to make it look pretty, before I put it back in one more time. Wanted to make sure everything was good before I wasted a bunch more time, so I won't upload any "proper" pics until it's all looking nice - but I will add a couple of crusty ones so you can see how close I got

Made enclosure from MDF as this is more readily available in Australia. No fiberglass needed and it sounds amazing and smooth. Was going to double the front baffle but I don't think it needs it tbh.
