Post Aussie Dyno Reults

This little thread contains info on peoples dyno runs with their 350Z. Peak kw and modifications will be listed along with a "Leaderboard". As we all know different dynos will provide different results so this is just for fun, it's not a competition and the results listed may not match what someone else will see with the same mods. That said, on with the good stuff.

The one and only rule: Scan or pic of dyno chart must be posted for the result to be included. ie No "My car just pulled 306rwkw" claims.

Aussie Leaderboard

1st ottonove, 182.9kw (shootout mode), HiTech exhaust, popcharger, JWT flywheel, UR pulley
2nd harryw, 174.4kw, (shootout mode), HiTech exhaust
3rd Zuff, 171.5kw, HiTech exhaust
4th MR RIZK, 166.1kw, Amuse exhaust
4th Flasher, 166.1kw, RT cats
5th apsilon, 164.7kw (shootout mode), Amuse exhaust, US air duct
6th ZZZ-35, 162.5kw, HiTech exhaust
7th Jacko, 151kw, custom exhaust, XEDE, CAI
8th Muzz, 148kw, removed rear muffler

Anyone got the 'before' mod comparison to prove/disprove HiTech claim?

Guys

I am keen to hear if the Hi Tech claims are real fot the zed.

They once claimed a +20hp gain on an S2000 exhaust which turned out to be BS!! Not even the expensive Jap brands (incl Mugen) with all their R & D could get more than 9hp out of em 7 that was with intake!

Before & after's would be great!

There are plenty of before and afters in the links above. 16rwkw gain is common.

Are these independant dyno's or dyno's that Hi Tech does not have any associations with??

I wanna believe...trust me!!! But +16kw from a n/a engine with a CAT BACK (not even extractors) raises doubts! You are lucky to get those gains out of a turbo charged car!!

All the dynos are independant. In fact Hi-tech didn't ever show a dyno. I sent them mine since i was so pleased with the results.

It became popular after 3 of the locals on the forum had similar results. Again all from different dynos. One in Melb, 2 in syd!

Chuckie, if you dont belive then that's fine. None of us are associated with HT and we all show similar results? There is no conspiract theory here my friend!

As always

Hi All

Sold My 350Z Track so if anyone is keen

I set of BRAND NEW front Galfer racing brake pads to suit front Brembo's only.

I bought these pads from the GTP Racing team. They are supposed to be great for stopping the car AND looking after the Discs.

Paid a $450 Aust Dollars, sell $300 Aust Dollars. Will ship anywhere if you pay freight.

Let me know by email asoole@optusnet.com.au

Hi guys, I'm back after being off the forum for a long time. Please do not ask why, let's just say 2005 was a #$&% year. Anyway, I still have my Z and want to change the exhaust. I'm interested in the performance gain but also want that growling sound similar to that those pesky Subaru boxer engines and exhaust mods give (obviously the V engine is different). Anyway, I see the Hi-Tech is getting some good results. Zuff, can you let me know how much they cost and where they do a good job? I'm sorry if this info has already been posted but I'm just easing back in.

Thanks guys.

May as well post mine:

Full exhaust, Popcharger, plenum spacer, MREV2, Unichip, flashed factory ECU to bump the redline to 7200RPM. Tyres were also a slightly smaller diameter, not sure what camber and toe I was running them at. On 98RON.

The "pre" graph is when the car was last tuned, when the redline was still 6600RPM and the MREV2 wasn't installed.

So far we are up to 345 @ wheels and running out of fuel. For the Americans thats about 490? HP. this is at 10 psi, so with a new fuel system happening this week and an increased boost we will probably climb into the 400's. This engine has everything on/in it. its a CNJ build.
