Toe hook?!
Anyone tried mounting the toe-hook onto the car? I've now tried it several times, and I can only get it to grab (maybe) 1 turn. I've looked at it closer today, and it looks like the top of the plastic grill insert gets in the way as the toe-hook is too fat there. Looks like the top of the grill is pushing it down and hecne on an angle into tho hole.
So, do I have wrong size toe-hook, or are they all made NOT to fit?!
ps. I need the toe-hook mounted for the track days.

Ive been towed with it, I had to remove the number plate and the tow truck didnt have a screw driver!? So I ended up having to use the edge of my keyring, but once I got it off I didnt have any problems.

Shizzle, never went back to it.
Too hard!
Maybe one day Ill have another look for myself. I have read though that there is a gold screw you have to take out of the caliper.
Apparently it's there to stop dumb *** idiots (nisshit?) putting the back wheels on the front!
As always

Can you try itr again? I did take the plastci number-plate holder to see it it would help, but on my car it's the inside-top of the black grill that gets in the way.
Tried mine - it' in-grown too!
Does that mean you could not get it in either?

I cant see how it could have changed but when I install my new number plate holder i'll check again. At the moment my number plate cover is on and every time I take it off the rubber edging keeps getting torn off.
FYI I didnt have to take the plastic bit off, just the license plate itself.

That is interesting. I have slim-line plates, and they do not interfere with the tow hook. I used to think that it is the plastic behind the number plate so I took it off on Sunday to check and the tow hook did NOT fit just the same. There's just not enough room between the hole for it and the top of the grill there. Could you possibly take a picture of your tow hook and post it here as maybe they my car came with a wrong one?!
Anyone else have this kind of problem, or is it just me?

Sure thing, but it will have to wait till I remove the number plate and cover again. Ive got all the bits for the plate holder but I need a vice so I can cut Aluminum to the right lengths.

I got someone else to try fiiting the tow-hook and this is what they came back with:
"It don't fit brudder, what a f#*#*#*ing joke, I rang Nissan and they cannot explain but Val will get back to me. Maybe just bore a hole through the black plastic."
So it looks like another one that does not fit. If anyone here gets a spare minute, can you try this ... I'm wondering if this is the case if most cars?!

David, are you talking about the plastic in the gril?
Yep, the top of the gril seems to push the tow-hook on an angle and hecne now allow it to screw intothe hole.
