Just joined 350Z.com and thought I'd say hi.
Would love to catch up either for a cruise, track day or a Melbourne based BBQ sometime (once the weather clears up).
Chat soon,

Come to http://www.**********.com/forums/index.php?showforum=79, which is where everyone has moved. You'll need to register.
ps. If you are interested in track-days, I'm going to Winton on the 14th so come to that. Let me know if you're intested as I'll get you the entry form ASAP .... entries before that arrive on Monday (7th) latest are $120, while after that it will be $150.

Sure thing ... you (and anyone else) can come to the club-sprints anytime as spectators. It does not cost anything as you just turn up (anytime) and just watch. I do it sometimes with other clubs to see how the're going as well as as to see how their events are run. So it's not a bad idea to turn up just to see how it works before you participate. Also, in some events you can go for a ride in a car (as a passanger) if you're there early enough (and know someone).
Besides that will let you guys know when I'm going again, and you can then book yourself in and partiticipate. Though for that you need to organize yourself before hand as you'll need:
- CAMS L2S license
- fitted (within reach) fire-extinguisher
- a club membership (that is any club membership)
- helmet
The only way you can get on the track without the above is when you do a proper high-perfromance driving course ... but that not only costs ~$300, but also you need to have completed a L1 and L2 courses beforehand. Unless that is something you're specifically after, you're better of doing 'driver training' with one of the car clubs as you can do that without any pre-requesits, costs less than $150, but you do need the items mentioned previously.
Oh, or you can do a track 'open'/'fun' day when they open the door to the public and anyone can turn up and take there car there ... for that you only need a helmet.

I'm going to Bathurst sprints (Conrod) on Sat Dec 4th. Sun is Hill climb, reverse through the s's.
Club membership through skylines Australia (Cams acredited) cams L2s through that.
Did Wakefield 5 secs slower than Mc Conville in 350...Happy with that!

When did you go? I take it that you managed 1:17 time ... correct?

What are the 'Bathurst sprint'? Does it have anything to do with the actual Bathurst track?
ps. I was at Winton last Sunday, and I don;t think I'll get to a real track again before the end of the year. Though, I'll probably go to Calder and so some more 400m runs before the years end.
