Not sure what you want to spend but have a good look at the Volk range ... they are relatively cheap at the moment given the value of the aussie dollar.

The width doesnt matter if your only concerned with filling the guards, you just need to get the correct offset which will push the wheel all the way out to fill the guards.

Mr Rizk, relatively cheap compared to when I bought mine over 12 mths ago ... no need for the stupid "you kidding" comment.
Nuff, I got mine through Wheel Revoluation in Brisbane (even though was living in Sydney at the time) but would also look at perfectrun.com.au
Murray, agree with your comment the guards will look filled out from the side but you won't have as much rubber under there and will really notice it looking from the back.

I agree with you as well and I do take that into consideration, but if 8" is the only size available he can get that and with the correct offset have them looking good. I think most would prefer to fill the guards on the side rather than under the car, with achieving both the desired goal.

Do not take everything to heart. If you are offended then I take it back.
In the context that you wrote the post I do not see anywhere that you bought the wheels a year ago. I can understand that compared your purchase price now and then why it is cheaper.
Sorry I do not keep a log of everyones purchase on this forum
Don't worry I went to the US about 2.5 years ago when the exchange rate was 0.52 so I know what it feels like to get screwed.

I suggest that you look very carefully at local rules governing offset as they can be very restricting. In Qld, for example, you can only increase track by 26 mm (ie 13mm per side) which is not much of an impact.
Possibly better to look further afield for a another set of rims that provide for wider sizes. Have a look at www.donnellans.com.au where a wide range of wheels is advertised. I've recently dealt with Paul Donnellan and service etc is first class (No, we're not related!!!)
cheers
