Looking for DE in GA/SE US/Atlanta Area

Greetings

I just got my new 08 NISMO and am looking for road course DEs. I live near Rd Atlanta (I love that track) and am looking for DEs in the GA/SE US area.

I scanned thru the listings here, but only saw the Carolina MoSprt event. That is reasonbaly close, but was looking for any other groups in the SE.

Any input appreciated.

Nice taste in Z's. I recommend you try this group. Stack and Marty run great events.

Thanks for the info!

I started with autox 16 yrs ago and moved to Solo I. I have campaigned several Vettes and still have my first one (Street Prepared 85) and my sixth (02 Z06). So I have several years experience at this.

I just got the NISMO for a daily driver and am really interested to see how it will run. I know it won't be as fast, but I am hopeful its handling will be on par, or posisbly better with the NISMO goodies. My wife is a bit ticked that I got a "track car" for my driver. However, I was thinking about the Grand Touring model, but just had to go with the NISMO. Only had it a few days, but I really like it.

I look forward to learing more about the car, making new friends here and meeting you on track. Thanks!!

Also, I am doing a track day with the Atlanta S2000 Club @ CMP Aug 2..you are welcome to join up with us...all cars are invited (I have a 350Z GT)
PM me if you are interested.

####################################################
Track Day: Carolina Motorsports Park 08/02/08
The S2000 Atlanta club is pleased to announce a joint track day with Turn One Track Events on the new full course.

Our goal is to have 1 run group with just our group. This will only happen if we have a high participation rate. Otherwise we will be grouped according to their standards.

The requirements to run this raceway will be: a SCCA approved helment (Snell 95 or higher), long pants, valid driver's license, insurance, and closed toe shoes. You will also need to have arm restraints if you wish to run your car with the top down.

Payment Information
We have the the opportunity to receive 10% off of the cost per person if we have atleast 10 people sign up. This will be settled following the trackday.

Please complete this form
For Events Date Enter "August 2nd - S2KAtlanta"
CMP Accepts, Credit Cards, Check and even Paypal. Instructions are included on the form.

The cost will be $190 for those that sign up at least 2 weeks prior to the event. With in 2 weeks there will be an additional $35 charge.

They also offer instructors for an additional $50. I encourage anyone that is a novice or beginner to please take advantage, as if you are seen as an unsafe driver, you will be pulled off.

Instructors will not be required for those with intermediate experience at track days.

We will allow passengers.

We'd love to have you at our event in October at CMP... but if you want something a little closer to you, check out Peachtree BMW, Chin Motorsports, and NASA-SE.
