The M3 won. I think they are first in points & Mike's team is in second for the season. Mike will have to give you his co drivers name. It was his first time running with Mike. His normal co driver couldn't make it. Mike is running the sprint races too. I am sure he'll comment once he gets home. I can email you some high res for use in Nissan Sport Magazine.

Well, I have some bad news.....Mike was involved in a crash today in the sprint race...he tangled with a S2000 that he often competes very closely with. I think Mike is fine, the car has some body damage...but likely can be repaired to fight another day..
I was not with the team in the paddock when he crashed...so I don't have many details..I was helping the TT Director grid up the TT 54 cars that attended.... But I helped crew the car during the Enduro on Friday..mainly I assisted with driver changes tasks....and other "flunky" duties BTW: The the Co Drivers name is Zachery Lutz....nice young guy...good driver...Zach normally drives a E30 BMW

I am pretty sure he is Ok
However, the S2000 took a hard hit, but from what I could the Z only had RF fender damage...........But I was 100 feet way from the car..and did not to get to see Mike after the crash...

First hot lap of the race, Matt (s2k) and I are running hard around the track as usual. I’m about an half a car length off of him as we enter turn twelve leading onto the front straight. A panoz had cut a tire on the exit of 10b and was quickly slowing down in the middle of the turn, Matt went right go around him at the start finish line, unfortunately the moron panoz driver decided to break racing rule number one when being passed of staying on line and pulled the car hard right hitting Matt’s left rear wheel.
My bad luck was I had stayed on line since the panoz had moved, so when the panoz struck Matt’s left rear wheel it spun him across track and into my 115-120mph path. Thus Matt hit the right front wheel/fender of the Z with the left front of the S2K. Of course after that my tail end was spinning 360 degrees and taking turns slapping the wall. Lucky that it was not a T-bone hit as he could have been really hurt, both of us walked away feeling pretty good physically. mpowers

Mike,
You & Matt are real lucky. That is a real bad place to hit. Did you guys hit the tire wall or further down into the concrete wall? How bad is the Z? It is a shame because it looked like you & Matt were set for another tight race. Here is the link to the GA Z team selling Nismo bodywork to racers. NISMO Bodywork approved by Grand Am for Koni Challenge

Hey JMARK,
Did you get any shots of the GT-R running in Time Trials? I know that guy,,the car is two weeks old,,,and likely the 1st GT-R in competition in the USA....Overall FTD was about a 1:25 by Reese Cox in a Corvette from another planet, the GT-R in completely stock form ran a 1:36! Other times for comparison are: A full race Porsche Cup car ran 1:28.99, a Porsche TT 1:32.89, a super-hot Vette @ 1:33.22, another hot Vette 1:36.017...Chris Rado had a 1:30.75 in the worlds fastest Scion....(blew up on Sat, caught on fire Sunday) All these cars are HIGHLY modified,,,,,,,TTU/TTR/TTS cars. then a the completely stock GT-R (with street tires/brakes) ran a 1:36.........
