I finally have a decent in car video and telemetry data setup. Still working on getting the video merge to work on posted items but it will be coming soon. So I thought a single thread with the first post updated with newly listed items might be of interest to some. I'll try to keep the newest ones at the top of this post.
Enjoy:
NEW
Not my best day at CMP. Started the day a little down on power and the car a bit squirley..and then it kind of went down hill from there. Good news is there is a bit of humor with it. Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself.
Fellow FFRC racer John George just sent the links from his races at the Glen this weekend. I hope to have my Audio worked out for next weekends event and it should sound like this one.
First Session at VIR South....just the warm up. It was a bit cool and raining. After this session the weather was great. I was bummed that I left my gloves sitting on my tool box. It took a little while to get the cob webs shaken off and get up to speed, but it started to come together. I was a little disapointed how much I was off line starting out. It has been a while since I was on VIR-S, but I shouldn't have been THAT bad.
Hurricane PCA HPDE. Great bunch to run with and Coco keeps things running very well. Only my 2nd time in the car, but still fun over all. I had to reset all of my reference point because the new car is much more capable than the Spec Miata was.
One of the funny things about watching these videos is they way I was feeling about the car that day. To me the car didn't feel like it was braking as well as my last car. I have complained to a few of my friends about this and been trying to dig into why. Then I watch these videos and realize that the car was basically out braking everyone. Its all about perception.

While I prefer to hear the sound of the engines in most of these types of videos the droning sound of the wind gets old. So I am going to add Music to make things less annoying. Any suggestions on what songs to use? Is there an old beach Boys or like group about Cobras?
Good news is I think we figured out the remote mic and wind noise issue for the next event.
