CFR SCCA will be hosting the Florida State Championship on Oct 17 & 18 at Sebring Raceway. Pre-registration is required and can be done at www.dlbracing.com. T-shirts for all drivers! Saturday will be a practice event and Sunday will be the trophy event. Event fees will be $30 for Saturday (all drivers) and $40 (all drivers) for Sunday's trophy event. Sorry punch cards will not be accepted for this event. This event will count towards CFR east & west coast points so if you need that last event to qualify for a year end championship please attend.
STU-2 is available for Z's on street tires too.

-Took 2nd place behind an S2k driver that was absolutley on fire.
At least we had a great turnout for the STU-2 class again. (All S2K's, the 300Z driver only came for "test and tune" but not the race.)
Jason Ruggles took second in.....CS. He brought his Z and his race tires, but with only 2 other drivers in BS, he decided to jump into Darrin Disimo's Mazda. Disimo took first in CS.

Had a grate time, fun course. Wish it was alittle warmer tho, my slick's didnt like the 50+ degrees. Think I could have at least dropped about one more sec if they got warm

My XS's didn't like it either. I brought my sprayer and never used it once. I let the driver that beat me use it because he had a co-driver and actually needed it.
I noticed the times went down, down, down as the track warmed up. And it wasn't just the classes and the drivers. (We had the STX National Champion in the first heat.)
Bryce may not look so hot in the pax (becuse he was in the first *cold* heat) but he was/is fast, and running all drivers from a given class in the same "heat" levels the playing field (in each class) for days like that.
(I wish we did that at Gulfcoast)
-And congratulations on your B-Stock win, BTW.
