My SMMP Money Shot...
Me puttin' the pressure on Dave Roberts coming into turn nine!!!
Granted, I made him run with the AC on. And, he couldn't go any
higher than third gear either. But, still...
Okay, that's two AutoX Events and a total of four OpenTrack Events on my new tires.
The fronts are gone. Man, oh man...I love this car!!!
Thanks again, Dave!!!

Putting pressure on a guy who looks like he's got a horrible line. Shouldn't you be able to just connect the two curbings through that turn, or do you really need to rotate like that for the first part?
There was a Blue RX-8 there too, no? Talking a big game on the RX-8 forum. Said no one could outrun him but the C5s.

going 110 into turn eight full speed. Then, into a tight zig-zag section. I like the
inside; tight and out. He likes outside/in to carry more speed. It really doesn't matter
when you're in a Vette. They'll eventually catch you on another part of the track.

I had no problem out running him. I had no problem out
running most of the 80+ cars there. The red and yellow
Porsche Boxters were fun. And, the skinny chick that road
with me was a total babe!!!

was around 2:25 or so. The rest were 2:40-ish...which really suck azz.
But then, we had to pass A LOT of cars in the process. All in all, I was
happy with the car's performance!!! BTW: Rims/tires. Otherwise, bone-stock!!!

Cool, good stuff. Bummer about all that traffic.
I got to run Spring Mountain in April of this year, it's pretty fun. I'll be going back in a couple weeks with SpeedVentures. Hope to see a bunch of Z's out there, they're impressive cars, and SpeedVentures generally keeps traffic pretty light.
Oh, and here's a video of a lap I did at Pahrump, do you guys have any recommendations on how I can go faster? Sorry it's not a Z I'm driving...

That looked like a pretty good lap to me. Now do it again with 20 cars in front
of you!!! Yeah, it's a lot slower. But, it's a lot more fun too!!!
I'm no expert. But, it sounded like you shifted pretty late coming down to turn seven.
And, it looked like you took the inside coming out of seven as well. If you carry more
speed coming down, you'll have a better exit coming out. That is, if you car can handle
like the Corvette did. Bastard...

We were clicking off 2:02-3s. I hope to be under 2 the next time out, maybe if I get the power up to 70rwhp!
And the S2000 (JZR), I timed him clicking off 1:49s! That is one bad @$$ car! Will it hang with the Vettes? YEP!

Best I could do was a :48.4 in Dave Kennedy's car, though it turns out later it was only running on 3 cylinders. At OTC I managed some mid :45's and I think there was more out there.
In my stock S2000 I did a :52.5, which is a bit faster than I thought I'd be able to go.

Cheers to Buttonwillow in January!
