Here are some pointers and they are meant to help, not rip you a part.
He had you beat by the end of the first slalom (tighter on the cones and passed more on the backside of the cones) and through the section starting at 16 seconds he was tighter on the cones, apexing later, on the gas sooner, and tracked out to the cones on corner exit. At 31 seconds you missed the turn apex by 4 feet while Ross was dead on it. At 39 (Ross) and 41 (you) seconds you missed the apex cone again by about 3 feet and early apexed the corner. Exiting that turn at 43 (Ross) and 45 (you) seconds notice how Ross is closer to the outside cones then you, he carried more speed through that corner by hitting the apex.
^ ouch.......but that's exactly what I needed. I don't know how you deciphered all that John but thanks a bunch!! Yeah I still have a lot of work to do and a lot more seat time in the Z so I can get a feel of how close I can get to the cones.
Alberto I'll ask him to post what program he used to edit.

Just carefully look at the side by side video and stop it every 2 or 3 seconds and compare Ross' position on course with yours in the same spot. Look for marks on the asphalt as references to gauge where in the lane your car is compared to Ross'.
This kind of information will really help you improve. And everyone goes through this. I get professional drivers sitting next to me as I'm driving on a track screaming, "What the hell are you doing rook?"
Ross is a faster driver, but the Hoosiers make an apples-to-apples comparison difficult.
I drove a B-Stock HR Z on race tires, back to back with my Z on Kumho XS's (and the mods in my sig minus the clutch/flywheel) on our "test and tune" course.
With only one run in the B-stock Z, I beat my Z's best time by a whole second, on a short course. 30.5xx vs 31.5xx
(None of my mods, or the fact that I know my Z like the back of my hand, could trump the race tires.)
