I attended my first Time Attack session at California Speedway on 11/14/2009. Took some pics, met some nice people like Sharif @ Forged, Scott @ Fontana Nissan and other car drivers/owners. I only attended the test/tune day but alot of the cars were running pretty fast on track.
If you never attended any of these event I highly recommend checking them out in the future.
I was out there Sunday so I didn't get to see the Fontana Nissan Z run, but I saw a most of the others and it was definitely a great time. The Brian Lock driven GTR lost a tire doing ~175 on the back of the curve after the straight and made for quite a show but they got it fixed and ran it during supersession which btw was a GREAT show!!
