Well, the Redline Time Attack season has finally come to a close. We just returned from the long trip out west to the Autoclub Speedway for the season finale. While we were out there, we also attending the invite-only Superlap Battle which is hosted by Super Street Magazine at Buttonwillow Raceway.
We are happy to report, that after 6 competitve events, and a dozen or so practice and test sessions, our Nissan GT-R encounted zero mechanical issues whatsoever. We just fed it a healthy diet of fuel, fluids, brake pads, rotors, and front splitters. We finished the season with 5 out of 6 podium finishes, and a 3rd place national ranking in the ultra-competitive Modifed AWD class.
Hope to see of you at Redline Time Attack events next year. Forged will campaign a GT-R, and a 2009 370Z but not sure which one I will be driving. Redline Time Attack was recently purchased by an investor group, and will be managed by a team out of Fontana Nissan/Unitech Racing. Look for REALLY big improvements to the series in 2010.
Big congrats to you and the crew Sharif. You never stop impressing me with your skills. I cannot imagine the GT-R with 200 more HP and less weight. What a serious weapon!!!
Just finished 3 days at Daytona in the baby bull. Wish you can make it down for one of these events in the future. I can just see the carnage of supercars slayed by your mighty Godzilla.
Check out my video in the other vehicles section and feel free to critique. Also, hope you received my thank you text for the huge Greddy package we rec'd. Awesome stuff!

Thanks Ron! I am glad you enjoyed the basket of treats.
Do me a favor and keep me posted on any Florida/Southern events you attend. It freezes up pretty good here, so I can easily be tempted to head south for a track day.
Congrats! I didn't make it out to all the events this year, but it was amazing watching the car and you driving at etown! Love watching the videos online as well!
