Seats mounted with planted brackets. Drivers side has sparco sliders. Its a good 2" lower than stock. No mods to the bracket. Im happy. Fits me perfectly. 5'10"
Pass side, its just strange. High up. No sliders, fixed.
Stock seat belts for now.

Oddly my stock seats did not have airbags?

Any pictures of the panted seat bracket mounted on the passenger side floor by it self to see if there is room for it to be modified to make it lower?

When you say 2" lower, are you saying the cushion where your butt hits the seat is 2" lower with this setup than it was with the stock one? I presume that's what you mean, but because I'm 6'7" so I'd like to be specific. I would LOVE to have 2" of more headroom. That would pretty much make all my dreams come true.

Also, it looks like those seats don't have a hole for the submarine belt of a 5/6 point harness. Are you planning on getting a harness? If so, are you just going to run the submarine belt in front of the seat? I was under the impression that it was supposed to go through a hole in the seat, but I haven't done a whole lot of research yet. Hence the question, haha.

I would also like to see pictures of the brackets mounted to the floor without the seats if you have them.

Seats have a sub hole, its in-between the front and back cushion. 6 point harness and roll bar are coming soon. Running the sub belt around the font of the seat would defeat the purpose of a sub belt and not be safe to do.

2" lower with my race seat. Yes. Not sure if every seat would have the same result.
My brackets are exactly like this. I just used sliders.

Pass can Prob be cut down an inch or so, the floor is just odd for the passenger Z. It will be fine for the passenger, I fit in there comfortably.

Yeah, that is my thread about the driver side and my experience with the Planted seat bracket on the driver side is much different than yours. I had to modify the driver side Planted seat base just to get it to sit lower than stock....with no sliders! I don't see how yours ended up 2" lower especially considering you add an 1" with the slider. The stock seat cushion actually sits very low to the floor, with no structure in the middle, only the side rails to support it and the frame.

Edit: I just went back and compared the photos you posted to mine and my seat is definitely sitting way lower based on the front cushion position relative to the center console. My seat is not 2" lower than stock, maybe 1" so I don't see how yours is 2" lower.

I see you're from Tuxedo. Which means you're about an hour from me.

We should have a bro date and become BFFs for life.

In all seriousness, we should hang out. Since being out of the Navy and moving back to NY all I've encountered are douchey car owners only concerned with street racing

2000atlanticgt, my seat has very little padding. Seems lower to me, my helmet has more room.

Z33_Taxi lets sync up track day calendars. Good to know Z locals, I just picked mine up when I started this thread. Looking forward to meeting you

Another thing to think about, with side mounted seats. Sliders dont add any height. The seats are lowered in-between the sliders. Unlike bottom mounted. My seat bottom is touching the top of the planted bracket right now.

First track day in the books. The Z performed flawlessly. My wife and I just drove it hard all weekend. Rained for most of the event, the great equalizer.
The new BFGs are VERY sticky for a street tire and exceptional in the rain as well. Highly recommended.

Learned that the TCS button doesnt turn the traction off 100% Kinda annoying.
ABS is very invasive, a fellow Z owner at the track did the ABS bypass ive been reading about. No prop valve, just used pad compounds to achieve a good balance.

Very fun weekend!

The Whiteline Black Box can bypass your TCS completely.

ABS problem is from your lack of tire stagger , unplug or have a switch to delete the yaw works great

I don't believe it affects the ABS at all.
