"Doing some testing on the #07 this weekend with Brian Kleeman behind the wheel and the Z1 Motorsports, Inc. crew helping with the prep. The car is running strong and ready for the race at Road America this coming weekend. We appreciate all the ZdayZ love the team has been getting, please cheer us on as we hope to get up to the front of the GTS pack and put a Z car on the podium"!

Another Win!
The weekend was successful taking into consideration the complications we had going into the Championship race on Sunday. The Dyno being used to ensure specifications were met was in question. The numbers from the Dyno proved themselves to be inconclusive on a number of cars but understandably, under the circumstances, NASA decided that they had no other option but to use the data as a deciding factor.
As the team prepped the car, Brain Kleeman geared up and prepared himself to drive the wheels off the underpowered Nismo. The race starts with Kleeman qualifying in the front of the pack for the standing start diving into turn one next to Jay Pellegrini lll. Some laps into it and there was some diff failure causing one of the rears to lock up going into turn 1, Kleeman steered the car away from the wall and worked his way back on the track. Now in 6th position, Kleeman knew he would have to crank the skill level to 110%. Lap after lap the Nismo came screaming down the front straight gaining positions as he charged to the front, but it was not going to be enough as Pellegrini was all by himself, in front, with fresh air and one thing on his mind. With not enough laps left in this race the outcome was clear. A yellow flag came out of nowhere with Kleeman now in 3rd everyone picked the heads up. The fight to the front was not over. The race announcer was clearly confused when he broke dreams by giving the news that the next time by will be the checkered under yellow. As they peaked around the last turn and down the front strait the white flag waves to our amazement and the sound of VQ's fills the air and shakes the ground. The race announcer yells, "They are going one more time" as they enter turn one. With disbelief and excitement we await the last lap, hoping for the best as we see Pellegrini still in front and Kleeman pushing right behind him coming into the last turn. Gaining another position on the last lap Kleeman finishes in 2nd.
With two 1st place finishes and one 2nd place over the race weekend we could be nothing but happy with the results and it could not be done without Brain Kleeman, the Z1 Motorsports team and most importantly our customers.

After the race we dyno'd for tech and it read about 262. Frustrating to say the least.
