Big grip. Even more reason to get everything else dialed in. There is so much more you can setup with those parts listed...ride height, corner balance, diff settings (lock and preload), damper settings, alignment, geometry. If you feel confident you have everything else dialed in, like you said you're planning on r-comps eventually, leave your springs alone for now. The stiffer springs will at least be better suited to the r-comps, not saying ideal. But they will at least be a baseline for you since they are a known variable.
Dialing out mid/corner/exit oversteer and power-over oversteer (lol) in a straight line require different attention. If you want more straight line traction, dial out your rear camber some. This will sacrifice rear grip in the corner, so it is always a balance. It sounds to me like the gears are just overpowering those tires. Do tires first and see how that changes everything, they make a huge difference all in themselves.
If its getting overly loose mid corner, and tire pressures dont do enough, consider damper adjustment. Whether to adjust compression or rebound depends on where and how it breaks loose. Ride height is also a factor here that is tougher to get correct. Obviously springs also but not really an area to focus on with all the other things you can do to attempt to make things better.

Is it true that 400-500 lbs split is ideal for our car? I remember reading this somewhere but I cannot recall where.
BTW, what are the motion ratios for our car and how do they affect what spring rates to choose?
