I think it will become more common as the price has gone way down, and will fall a bit more. It will last as long as there are good chassis left. Although, the drifter's will probably destroy half of them.
Yup, the stock ones r too far apart and too wide so had to remove tjem... cant mount dire tky to chassis bc it's super thin and uneven.
What about this? This is an internet picture but, this is what i am considering for the bottom mount seats ill be getting. This is an FIA spec mounting style.

Sadly not much... been busy doing other things. Since my last post Ive gotten the seat rails done, the roll cage footings and the side A-pillar bars bent but not notched yet. What you been up to other than whats on your thread?

Thats okay. Slow progress is still forward progress. I can say the same thing. Ive been planning my wedding and buying a house on a nice lot. My projects have taken a backseat after I got my Akebonos mounted to my Z.
Research and planning has been on my mind. I need to order a seat so I can do the door bars.

Ahhhh, getting married and buying a house... the 2 most time consuming activities lol. Good luck, im glad its all behind me. Im hoping to get back on track.
There hasn't been a lot of action on my end. Hit a curb, bent a wheel, mounted a set of new wheels with ALL WEATHER TIRES. I'm signed up for a NASA event at Sebring next week. I'll be running HPDE events with my daily until the 240sx is track ready.
As for the 240sx: The side mounted seat mounts are finished and I began to rebuild the floor for the seat mounting frame.
