WTF???? Do you know what you're selling? Please don't advertise these as something to cool down the engine area. They are for cosmetic purposes only... If you look at the underside of your hood, you'll notice a rubber gasket which effectively does the same as a "cooling plate".

I have one, but only use it as a tool tray when I'm working on my car!!

I hate it when people are misleading.

unfortunately you are also being misleading. it helps force air thru the radiator a bit more effectively than the rubber gasket. in addition, it does add a nice decor to the engine bay. i don't think anyone will argue with you on the aesthetics but saying that it is purely cosmetic is going a bit far. these rad plates have been effective in many applications but it's also never the sole reason for increased cooling capacity.

Also, conversation and discussion is appreciated and even more so if this were a thread that was designated for that. i'm not sure what the moderators think but this is a sales thread and i'm sure i'm not alone when i say that all the vendors on this wonderful forum appreciate it when their sales threads are used for its intended purpose...sales.

thanks for your input but i would also like to encourage you to start a discussion thread regarding this rather than taking it out on my thread.

You're the one that stated that they cool the engine area, not me. I have noticed a steep decline in the quality of vendors on this site over the past few years.

Bottom line, make sure you know what you are selling and advertise correctly and you will have customers that will TRUST recommendations that you make.

Good luck with the sale of the aesthetic plates.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Better yet, don't post on their "sales" thread.
