I definitely hear you guys regarding PM responses.
Like most everyone else, I had a bit of difficulty getting a response from Jay. However about a month ago, I had some luck via email. I emailed Jay on a week night around 7:30pm Pacific, and to my surprise he responded almost immediately. So I sent the money via paypal. This all happened within 15 or 20 minutes. Then I heard absolutely nothing for 8 days (which wasn't particularly surprising since I had him paint it). Then I got a message from paypal stating that the transaction was updated with shipping information and 6 days later the spoiler showed up at my door. So I've got some confidence Jay will come thru. No doubt sending $300 or $400 to somebody with little or no feedback feels risky. In the end, I just went for it and it worked out. That was my experience, YMMV.
You guys can figure this out but I'll throw it out there. I believe Jay is usually in Taiwan. Taiwan is 15 hours ahead of Pacific time (up to 18 hours ahead for you US guys farther east). If you were looking to contact him say M-F between 9am-5pm, then you'd want to email between 6pm-2am Pacific, Sun-Thu. (I have no idea what sort of hours Jay works or if he's actually in Taiwain, just my guess.)
Thought I might post up a few pics.
Packaging:
The super sport box is empty, it was included to support the spoiler and was taped to the sides of the shipping box. Clearly, I opened the wrong side of the box. Paint looked perfect and spoiler looked like it was well protected.

no joke dude that is quite a bit of money to give to a mystery man but thank you so much for the feedback you just saved Jay bc I was about to give up on it. It looks great on your car. I guess I will just keep trying..

Thanks for the info Russ! And congrats on the spoiler, it looks perfect!!! I think I'm gonna follow in your footsteps and just send him the money too... I've been trying to get one of these for a while now and clearly he did come through after a couple of days. I'd rather take this route than wait 2 or 3 months on a special order from Japan.
