Depends on how comfortable you are with minor wrenching. I would advise taking your time. If you do, it probably will take about 2 hours. The second time around, well below an hour. It really isn't a tough DIY job.

No lift needed; just get some jackstands. There is more than enough room to work on the bumper; even the jack stands are only needed to keep the car raised while the front wheels are off.

Tools needed, as my picture shows, are the most basic that practically everyone has; a screwdriver and socket wrench with 10mm socket. A member above also noted that he replaced his without removing the bumper. You may give that a shot as well.

I didn't even use jack stands..... I just used a tire jack.. not as safe I know....
I worked on one side, then I put the tire back on and switched sides.
This was very time consuming, but effective. Took me about 3 hours total, going very tentatively.

I just did the same with the OEM tire jack, it was a lot more time consuming because you can really only do one side at a time. I was able to do the driver side without removing the splash guard...a lot harder and greater working space restriction, but it worked.

The OP should make a slight change on the pictures to include the 06-07 version of headlights as well. The instructions are the same, except the parking light is in a slightly different location.

nothingremains...if this is your first time going to the auto store to pick up lifts and stands, be sure to make sure the lift you bought can lift as high as the stands that you're using it with. as simple as that sound, i made that mistake the first time.

Thank for the excellent directions. I was able to follow those directly on my '07 to replace the side markers. The only thing I did different was use ramps then I jacked the car up a little higher and putit on jack stands. I didn't bother removing the wheels. I found I didn't have trouble access anything with the wheels still on. Initial attempt at this took 2-3 hours being unfamiliar to what to look for. But after doing this, I can easily take the bumper off in less than 30 min with the help of power tools. It was amazing how much easier it was to put everything back together. Also, I would recommend getting some extra bumper push rivots from nissan. (The ones on top of the bumper visible when you open your hood.) They just wouldn't come out easily no matter what I did. So I just applied steady force and ended up with 4/6 broken. Anyway, thanks again for the writeup. It was really nice actually doing it. It allowed me time to get a close at the suspension and get perspective on where everything is and how they work.

They were custom-made by ares. I have since redone them myself.
