Don't worry about orientation of the pic. OP stated to pull towards front of car once trim piece is removed and after loosening the 12mm bolts...after that just move it towards front of car ~1/8 inch, retighten everything, and gently check alignment of hatch with latch. As in don't just slam or drop it, might regret that. One guy posted that when the hatch popped after doing this, it really POPPED, indicating it could've been too tight/not aligned properly afterwards. I'll be trying soon when I get my baby back.
