Great tutorial!!! I will do this soon when the weather clear up so i can paint the housing too!

How hard is it to run the wires to the blank space near the gas door and add the switch?

anyone tried this with 3 LEDs instead of 1?

ok, if you have the right resistors in place run a wire from the + of the led to one side of the switch, on the other side of the switch run it to a wire with constant 12v to it or the + battery terminal. ground out the other side of the led anywhere

Im really a noob when it comes to lighting/electric wiring stuff like this. Would it be easy for someone like me to do this? I think I know how to place the LED, but Im not sure as to where I need to connect the wire and what switch everyone is talking about. Obviously the red light is illegal in ca, so I was wondering where everyone wired theirs. Is it the parking light switch? And if I turn on the headlights, will it still shine red? Or only when I turn on the parking light assuming I connect it to that. Plz help, thanks.
