I bought my 350Z about a month ago, there was haze on the drivers outside mirror. Bought some $5.69 headlight restoration kit for the wife's XC90, she needs a wet sand. The stuff did clear the mirror on my car, though. My headlights look pretty good, just touched them up a little.

Default Help Needed

Hey guys. Long story short, someone drilled a hole in my headlights so I want to buy new ones. A friend is offering these for 100 dollars for the pair and I was wondering is it worth repairing. There is 2 big scratches on one of them. Both have equal fog. Any opinions on how to fix it or should I buy a new pair. Thank you for your time.

I can't for the sake of God get rid of the yellowing that is hazing up my headlights. I've tried just about everything from buffing, clear coat, to the tooth brush method but nothing is working! It's still really really yellow especially looking from the top down. I think it's either I'm not sanding it hard enough or not pressing hard enough on the buffer.

You may need to get more aggressive and do some wet-sanding, rather than polishing.
