I'm sure everyone has seen at least 3 treads on how to remove and cap off your rear wiper, the only reason i post this is because i found a better fitting piece to replace the hole where the rear wiper motor comes through. I may not be as detailed in my step by step processes since i'm sure everyone has seen how to go through the steps. If anyone would like any details, just post.
The piece that i used are the little plastic pieces that are on top of some older faucet knobs to cover the bolts, they typically have a H (for hot) or C (for cold) on top, these are about 3/4" in diameter. The piece that the other threads have; the faucet stopper, is way too big and looks a little hacked (altho it does create a good seal). See how the sizes compare in the picture below, new piece on the left, and faucet stopper on the right.
Anyway, these pieces fit right in the slot, i just used crazy glue to get them to stick and hold a seal, car was parked out side all night and it rained last night, no leaks.

The color match is almost perfect, if i would have used a white base coat, it would have been exactly right, but hey, its close enough. rear wiper 4.jpg
Where did you get the paint? I have the regular, large plug for my PPW and I want to switch to this smaller one, but I need a better paint match. Where did you get yours from that match the LeMans so well?
i ended up using the stock rubber gromet from the wiper itself and a 7/8" black plug from Lowes. Hollow out the rubber gromet so the plug will fit in it. Cost me $0.98. Its black, looks stock. Done.

can you give us an update? any leaks?!
maybe where your at, but down here in TX summer heat i can see super glue breaking up with the heat and leaks happening....
all these threads talk about installing it and then it raining a few days later and no leaks - which i believe that early on, but down the road is the true test.
I would recommend some RTV silicone on the inside........they sell RTV silicone that can handle some high heat ranges for when the steel hatch gets hot parked in the sun..
The sealant wont be seen either once your put the interior plastic back on the car...
Just some food for thought for everyone.

^Hey guys, I did this to my Z (Thanks to the OP for finding a better fitting piece) and it looks AMAZING! In fact, I'll go take a pic of mine and post it up.
I had a body shop paint it when I was getting my door handles painted, and it looks so great.
I got mine to stay with super glue AND sealed mine with some caulk actually (all purpose) and so far have had no leaking whatsoever.
