If you did anything like a dress up of bolts ...use s/s or chrome.
That would give a classy expensive look.
Ever see this kinda stuff of a Ferrari,Aston,Lambo engine?

There are 3 types of Z owners:
PURISTS(everything matches/the mods...the design flows)
"FAST&FURIOUS GUYS(has about 30+ mods on the engine list)
GLITZ(the flashier the better/20" wheels...wild colors)

This is definetely GLITZ

Just out of curiosity... why'd you use washers for the license plate?

No particular reason, Flo. I had the choice of any color washer and bolt. I just wanted the stainless washer and blue-ti bolt. I actually am second guessing it, and curious if I should have went with both blue...

Did you try not using the washers?

No good call though. I'm about to go take a pic of the whole engine right now.

For the torque wrench guys like me, are the torque specs for any of the bolts important?. If so is the seller leaving them to the installer to comb through the user manual to find them?. They look good.

I'm flattered you went through the trouble of photoshopping that!

As for the torque specs, those are not included in the install instructions so I suppose if you are insistent on returning all the bolts and nuts to their proper torque, you should look up all the specs in the FSM. I've removed and replaced my strut bar countless times, and that is probably the most structural thing in the entire replacement of bolts that I'd be worried about not being torque'd to spec.

Actually finding them is not hard.

found out recently about this mod, seems pretty cool but too pricey for just snazzy bolts. But if you got the cash then why not right?

I ordered some bolts from dressupbolts last week and I could not be happier with this company. I got my package in less than a week and the bolts look great. I wish I knew about these guys before I went with ballerbolts last year because that was nothing but a 3 month long headache.

Price seems kinda high, but I will tell you, I have bene replacing and swapping out the "plastic pop retainer clips" and would love a fullltime suitable substitute that isn't cheap looking and a PITA 1/2 the time....Nissan loves em, Maximas, Z's everything from them I have owned!?

Glad you were just as happy with them as I am. In my opinion it's a really easy and simple was to class up the engine bay without a drastic change. And the owner Chris was really easy to work with and very willing to help me out with my requests.

I'm very satisfied with the Allens Fasteners stainless steel bolt kit for $36.00 www.allensfasteners.com
120 bolts 50 M10 washers.
For the professional look you would need to grind the lettering off the face (power drill w/emery disc) then finish the top with a buffing wheel....or just leave the bolts as they are.
By far the best value around!

It's OK now!

Let's see some photos man! I am about to order some of the Burnt Ti ones from Chris soon, hopefully to replace some of the bolts on the plenum, and I was thinking about replacing the bolts on my cusco cage with burnt Ti bolts as well. We shall see!
