Hi. I am trying to avoid a trip to a mechanic as much as possible with my recently acquired 2004 350Z (which does not come w a manual); so any input that can help w my issue is more than welcome.

Front passenger side turn signal was making that quick flashing indication on the dash when you activate the turn signal so I replaced the bulb thinking it was burned out.

Now when i depress the turn signal lever, the dash flashes like normal, but the turn signal light itself is STILL not flashing. Any ideas on what I should do next to Troubleshoot?

I switched the bulbs to ensure that i had the right one - works on the driver side, just not on the passenger side.

I was wondering if it might be a fuse issue...but if it were a blown fuse i am guessing i wouldn't get any response at all.

Did you touch the turn signal with your bare hands at all while changing it?

I tried not to, but I think it did a little bit. I will add that I used the same bulb on the driver side after i tried it in the passenger side. In the driver side the bulb worked fine, just not the passenger side. I think i might need to preplace the wiring or something. what is that part called that I am looking for?
