Caution When Ordering From Diode Dynamics
This is continued from the post here:
https://my350z.com/forum/body-exteri...-same-day.html
I will start posting my communications so all can see. I feel since one of the things I ordered was a Stage III kit this was a better place for these posts. I am trying to get the word out about these guys. I ordered over $200 in lights for my 350z a month ago and have just been givin the run around.
Here is my latest email:
Paul,
Two more days have passed and I haven't been told anything. No package, no email from you. I'm trying to be real cool about this.... but where the hell are my lights? I understand it's a USPS issue, but as the shipper/seller it's your responsibility to make sure it gets to your customer. You may not have a contract with UPS but using USPS is obviously a big mistake. I have several guys in my car clubs wanting to spend HUNDREDS on lighting for there cars but none of them are going to order from you if this is the service they can expect.
I shouldn't have to email you. If you haven't heard anything about my package, pick up the phone and call me, everyday, till you can refund my money or deliver my product. This is beyond bad service. I've been doing car mods and upgrades for 15 years, and ordered some stuff from some shady places but NEVER in 15 years have I had to deal with such a lack of service and communication.
I am not pleased and I do apologize for the harsh words but I am enraged at the entire process I have been through with your company and I'm not someone who goes down quietly (as you've already seen).
All I ask is to rectify this and MAKE YOUR CUSTOMER HAPPY. Send me more lights, UPS this time, find out what the hell happened to the USPS shipment, or give me my money back. Whatever you do, DO SOMETHING. I'm tired of coming home everyday with anticipation thinking I *might* get to install all the cool lights I ordered a MONTH ago, just to be let down.

Well, I guess I'll post my reply then!
Alex,
We can reship everything if you'd prefer. At this point, from my experience, I would expect the package to be returned to us sometime soon. We can reship everything via USPS Express for guaranteed delivery. As I've said, we just don't have the capability to ship via UPS.
Additionally, I'm sorry that you feel ignored, but we simply don't have the manpower to call customers every day that a shipment is not yet delivered to tell them that we have no information. I'm trying to respond to your concerns immediately with the information that I do have.
Thanks,
Paul

Satisfied with the LEDs.
I just wanted to make a post closing up my pervious ones. After a little hassle Diode Dynamics did the right thing and reshipped my order express mail and it did arrive after a few days. Its unforturante it took me a month to get the service I deserved.
Overall I am happy with the stage 3 kit I purchased. The lights are much brighter and emit that clean white color insted of yellow like filament bulbs. I will put a word of caution... I expected to see lights that fit in my car perfectly since it was marketed as a "350z Stage III Kit" however you will recieve flat boards with LEDs on them for your interior lights. They come with a sticky back but the double sided tape is absoutly useless in our cars as there is nothing within the light housings to stick them to. I ended up having to CUT part of the covers for the map lights to make the LED board fit and sit flush. I also had to use Gorilla Glue to secure the flat circuit boards in the lighting housings.
Long story short, good product, bad fitment. Expect to have to glue and modify your interior to make these fit.
No complaints about the outside lights. Plug n play, look great, no modifications needed. Wish the interior had been the same but overall satisfied.
I also ordered several LED strips from these guys and halos. Will place a link here to my post reviewing the LED strips and halos once it is complete.

Thanks for the post! But the boards will adhere to any surface if held for 5-10 seconds. It does not have to be a fully flat surface. No modification is necessary for this kit! You definitely should not be cutting or gluing anything in place.
Thanks,
Paul
