...you guys mean that you've lowered your beasts beyond stock height??? Man, mine's stock, & I just CAN'T do oil changes with regular, light (i.e. plas-
tic) ramps! I've been checking out the jack stands at Pep Boys & Western Auto; some are too expensive, some too puny...What a predicament! I'm gonna have to imitate old ABISHOP, but I ain't got that kinda ability...Deci-

I'm gonna do the same thing. I bought a set of low angle ramps and they're still to high for my car to get on. I think my front bumper drops down to about 2" off ground. I put a 2x4 in front of the ramp and it barely clears and pita to get up. nice job

This will only be able to lift either front or rear, not both eh?
Is there a way of making 4 ramps and being able to lift up all sides? I did a little brain storming but didnt come up with any yet. Anyone?

yours are cool, but for 35-18 = $17... too much of a waste of time

i bought a set of these also.. great for changing oil.. the car was a little too low.. but i shoved them under there.. bumper flexes enough for me to get the car up there

Suggestions:
- Try placing the ramps on a rubber mat
- Attaching a sheet of rubber to the bottom of the ramps
- Spray something like rubberized undercoating to the bottom of the ramp. (Test this out on something else just in case the coating turns out to harden and just make things worse.)
I use an exercise mat that I should be using for exercising.
Also, I'd suggest you attach a rope handle at the end to make it easy to carry them around or hang them up on the wall.

You can even put in scales! (Which you can see didn't work out too well with this Suby's wheelbase. Not adjustable enough for the scale feature)
I think I'd have to be a serious racer for this $3K setup. My wife would call me nuts if I built this in the garage.
