Brembo makes a 14.1 inch disk
$ 3595.00 Installed....
But you have to upgrade the Wheels and tires..
The stock 18's DO NOT fit with the 14.1 inch Brembos....
They ( Brembo) also had at SEMA 15.1 inch discs.... can you say HUGE>>>

The Brembos seem incredibly overpriced to me, considering similar kits from StopTech, Alcon, and AP Racing are $800-$1200 less.

as for the other comments, the owner wanted a unique Look and better performance. He does tend to race around and gets heavy on the brakes....
The 14.1 requires a larger spacer,
The 15.1 inch requires at least a 19 inch wheel...
I agree they are pricy, but Brembo is the best money can buy... and they look so sweet....
As for the comment regarding " they are just like the Track model"
Wrong, the track is a single disc, vented and only 12.75 inches.
brembos installed on this car are Double disc's, cross drilled, and slotted, and 13.1 inches... plus SS lines, pads, and bigger callipers... painted RED, Black or Silver....
They are an upgrade to the track brakes...although a minnor change, they set Dr. Coles Touring model apart from all the other Chrome Silver Tourings out their...
in the spring he is getting Chrome wheels and tinted windows to compleate the look he wanted...

chrome wheels??? bleh.. please at least talk him into polished aluminum
lets see. lets get some good brakes becaus ei like to race a bit... oh brembos are like the best right?? ok i lll take a set... now i need some big heavy chrome wheels to match my big heavy brakes. Maybe my bigger brakes will negate the difference of putting heavy wheels on... oh wait now i need more power to get my accelleration back...

But we had provided a list of light weight 18 inch weels
Such as ENKEI's they would provide a unique look and SAVE weight...

That is one beutiful install Bluefish
I shouldn't complain since I jumped the line and got my Track in September with a mere 6 week wait. But if i could do it again i would get the enthusiast and mod it myself.
Now it seems like a waste if i upgrade my stock brembos for those monster discs/calipers!
Maybe I will upgrade my front brakes and keep the rear brembos stock for the car show season.
Don't forget to mention to Dave my Special Nav project. :P

Dang those are nice. I really like the silver calipers to complement the silver of the car.
I will be upgrading my performance Z the the Stoptechs (can't justify the extra cost of the Brembo's - I'm no Doctor, hehe). Not sure yet if the Stoptech 14's fit in the stock wheels, but since the 13's are already bigger than the track Z's, and the track Z brakes have had very good reviews, I think I'll stick with that size since they will save quite a bit of weight over the 14's (and a few hundred dollars, too)
Can you post your list of lightweight wheels and the weight of the Brembo's if you have them?
Thanks,
D'oh!

ouch, performance and enthusiest just got a shot in the arm. suddenly it comes out that the brembos on the track arent all that after all. superb brakes for sure, but they are nothing that will replace aftermarket. but you do get the warrenty.
owell if I had the cash, Id go out tomarrow and get a set of 19" forged rims and the 15.1" rotor kit, but I do not have the cash, so I wont.

Bluefish - help out here please...
If I want to go this route (super brembos!) when the Z is released in the UK what do I tell my dealer?
Parts numbers & full specification would be very handy.
Post, PM, whatever
Thanks in anticipation...

I think people need to wait for test results before they start blasting the track model's brakes. Bigger brakes aren't always better--too much brake on one axle can throw off the balance of the car, and make the braking more dangerous.
The one one the touring should be fine because it seems to be a minor jump in brake strength over the track, but I wonder how the 15" rotors will affect the car?
It does look great tho!

Save your money and just go with a simple upgrade: SS lines, pads and fluid and for a fraction of the cost you will get greatly improved performance, I agree not stop tech or brembo but for 500 bucks you will get great improvements. I am sorry but 3200 for just front is robbery, but it is the dealer, he probably would have been better off waiting until after delivery and going through the service department rather than on the sales side.
