When kept in their desiganted temperature ranges they will last upwards of 100K miles which in most cases is the life of the car.
We are well aware that these parts are out of the price range of most of the folks who would like them but at this point the technology is still developing. Costs will start to come down as time goes by but even if they drop by 50%, it will still be out of the price range that most would like to see.
