I suppose I can post these up now that at least the fronts are done. With only the fronts done, the bias sits the same as an OE Brembo setup. When the rears are done, it'll sit halfway between a Brembo and a Standard.
The front calipers are 996 Twin Turbo Big Reds (36/44 pistons) with 2010+ Camaro SS rotors (355x32).
Don't mind the crap on the rotor, it's the VHT I sprayed to keep the hats from rusting. Takes a while for it to wear off. These are throwaway pads.
Why Camaro rotors? Because they're 6lbs lighter per corner than 370Z rotors, despite being the same dimensions and have a wider center cooling channel with more surface area for cooling. They need the bolt holes ground inward slightly to clear the Z's smaller PCD and the hub hole opened up by 0.6mm. These can be done with hand tools in a few minutes. These fronts add about 4lbs per corner over an OE Brembo setup. The way it's designed, I can easily throw on Z1's 2 piece 370 rotors in the future, or move to the larger 370mm CTS-V rotors.
The PCD holes were opened up with a die grinder, and the hub hole with a 3" flap wheel. Took all of 10 seconds per side. The calipers are clocked 18° downward to help with pad knockback. StopTech clocks theirs down more, but their calipers have a lower mount height. This was the most I could clock them down before strength started dropping off significantly.
Brackets are 19mm thick 6061 T6, grade 12.9 studs. I drew them up in Solidworks first and ran stress calculations on them to see how strong they were. I probably could have gotten away with 0.5" thick, but the 0.75" stuff puts fatigue cycles into the millions.
Best part is they clear my winter wheels (stock 18s):
I was afraid I'd need spacers. There's about an inch between the caliper and spokes in my RPF1 summers. I'll post those up when I swap them on at the end of April. Hopefully I'll have the rears done by then too. Rears are 911 Carrera rears with the usual 370Z rotors. Total cost was still less than a set of used OE Brembo calipers.

I've had my car for about 2 years now, got sick of looking at base model brakes.
Picked up a used set of Akebono's and paired them with AMS slotted rotors.
Powdercoating chipped from previous owner, I'll probably try to touch them up a bit to make it less noticeable. (in my haste to get them on during a rainy day, the rear rotors got put on backwards, will address that when I get around to it)
