I bought a 2006 350z with 30 k milles, I found that the car had few changes: injen cold intake, injen cat back, stoptech 6 front brakes, koonig wheels, tires: front 245/40/19 back 275/35/19, and a back seibon spoiler that looks like a wing. Now I am hook up on the performance scene, and I would like to lower the car 1 or 2 inches: But with so many products out, the question is: which one is the best? I tend to favor a company call SPL Parts. Anybody can give me some advice? :

You might want to do research cuz these guys on here are gonna have your *** on a plate!!! There is no best, do some research and go with what you feel is right for you!

Well, what I really think is: If I change the center of gravity by lowering the car, I will need to adjust alignment close to manufacture’s spec. And to preserve the tires. Now the company that has the most parts for that purpose is SPL parts: Sway bar end links, front multi-link arms, rear multi-ling arms, chassis bushings, shocks/spring/coil over. Can I get certain parts from one company and combine them with other company products? I would like to have a kick *** performance suspension.

I dunno, but you could probably sell the injen CAI, go back to stock, and gain some power

OP go with some Eibach springs if the wallet is tight, or go wif coilovers if you are going to be tracking the car & don't mind the harsh ride.

I am considering coilovers, something stiffer from the stock that I have right now, and other components just like what is shown in the Sept. Edition of Modified ////////MAG publication, anybody done something like it? Thanks for your impute.

do plan on tracking the car? if not, SPL is overkill.
If you don't plan on tracking the car just go with some lowering springs (maybe tanabe GF210's?). Cheap and what you're looking for.

If you plan on tracking coil overs without a doubt.

I don’t think I’ll be tracking, but I do daily commuting, around El Cajon Paso, San Bernardino, all the way to Temecula, I would like a responsive suspension, to deal with all that traffic. Thank you for all your comments.

Unless you are one of those idiots (which I doubt) that think that weaving in and out of heavy traffic somehow makes you a stud, you don't need a "responsive suspension" to drive in traffic. The stock suspension on the Z is actually very, very good.

The only reason to change the suspension is if you want to lower the car for looks, are going to be doing autocross or track, or want to create your own economic stimulus package.

You’re right those idiots weaving in and out of traffic need to be punished by driving in NASCAR with the professionals on week-ends.
Looks like I will get away with springs only to lower the Z. Now: camber and toe adjustment can be done after lowering the car without adding any other parts? Or I don’t need to make any further adjustments. Thanks for all your answers.

if you use springs with a moderate drop you may want to consider some camber arms to save some tire. SPC would be fine for you. SPL is overkill.
