My brake pads were squealing so i went ahead and replaced them with new ones. (the Pro Hawks) Which i had before and they were real good. The problem is after replacing the pads the squealing continues not has bad maybe but bad enough.... It only happens when i press on the brake pedal about half way in.... Any ideas?
Well I don't think it has to be perfect... just make sure you give them time to cool between each cycle. I would try it again just to make sure.
A few soft brakings, a few medium ones, then a few hard ones... letting them cool before each one. Try not to ever get to a complete stop and don't hold the brake down if you do have to stop.

Well i have had these breaks on for probably about 5 months now... but the squealing started right away.... Should i still try it? Also that anti squeal compound does it work?
I'm wondering why you wouldn't recommend it? I'm not trying to be argumentative but perhaps you know something that I don't.
It's not that I know anything special... but I have the same brake pads and they squealed until I bed them in properly. I'm not sure the best method of putting on the squeal stop... but I would think it involves taking off the tire and brake pads again. So basically... out of laziness, I would try bedding them in again.
