Thumbs up 13/14" Big Brakes for My "Z"

I am looking at putting a set of Wilwood's Big brakes with 13" front and 14" rear rotors. I would like your opinion of this setup? Do you think I would have pretty good braking power with this arrangement?

Are you sure it not 14 inch front and 13 inch rear? If so , its a great setup and i got mine from Todd at TCE brakes.

No, it's the set I mentioned. I am getting the 14" set for the rear from a member on the forum. I will be getting the 13" fronts from somewhere else. Both sets are slotted and drilled. I got a great great deal for the rears and went for it. I figure being rear wheel drive would make it a good setup also; you think?

lol reverse logic for the win. Should buy the 14" kit for the front.

This set up will only work if you get 17" wheels for the rear and 18" wheels for the front

Thanks for your responses. I just want to make sure I do the right thing and not use faulty logic.

During braking weight transfers to the front tires of the vehicle. The main braking force is generated by the front brakes. The front and rear brakes have to have the correct bias to work correctly. You should only install a balanced brake system. What your doing could be dangerous and result in erratic handling.

I am looking at trying to find a good front kit with 14" rotors at a descent price that will not break the bank; going 14' on all four or dropping the 14" kit and going 13" all around. That should work, right? I appreciate all comments. I think that is what this forum is for; to help each other out new to the process of up grading to improve your "Z."

Terrasmak, lgear080; do you have a specific site where I can check out the BBK or the TCE's or just do a Google?
