^ wait, so what happened exactly....
did you crash into something and go off course or ??? or was this a result of a long hold, ie, long brake??
this hands down looks impact related..?

Ran too wide in a closed road course. No handbrake was use before, during the impact with the curb. However, I do have a feeling that the knukcle broke first due previous curb related impacts that include two broken track v.1 wheels lol

^ ok great ya......impact crash, all bets are off, damage is damage, none of which is a result of caliper bracket addition to the car.
See, i did a lot of calculations on the added load and stress that a bracket of your type (ie, your type is how it should be designed, not like some on here with spacers under the rotor hat) would input to the knuckle and found them all to be negligible......
glad to see the caliper held up, that's simply due to the material (steel) you built it from. it would be the stronger part in the stack up of 5000 series aluminum knuckle is made from...

Can anyone Confirm the Maverick kit does or doesn't allow you to retain use of OEM Drum cable brakes, As in the UK for our Annual Vehicle inspection (MOT) We have to have a working Cable brake, Cheers

Last weekend had a chance to test the strength of my caliper bracket.
Broke the cv joint on the axle, bent the camber arm into a V shape, bent and twisted the traction rod and spring bucket, bent the upper control arm and broke the knuckle. As far as I can tell the bracket is not even bent.

Since a demand is starting to appear, I will try to correct the measurements on the blueprint over the off season or mid-spring so any new caliper brackets would not require any modification for fitment. Also I might part exchange my kit for a Maverick one since I do not need the oem parking brake any more since my car has a full 6 point FIA spec cage and I don't need to pass inspection.

unfortunately no, it's 8 degrees F outside so it is difficult to work on the car. Although I have come up with a better way to measure everything so it will be faster. At this point the question is not if I will make the kit but rather when I will make it. Once I have something, I will post here to let everyone know.

What are your brake line set-ups on the hydraulic handebrake. I also want to do something like this but I dont have the Brembo Z. Is it worth getting dual calipers for the Regular Z brakes.
