Default Help with H&R street coilovers

So I installed these coilovers today and was wondering what options I have to make the rear go just a little lower. The front is almost perfect (actually going to raise it a little). But the rear is maxed out and is higher than my D2 springs sat. I'd just like to fill the gap a little more. Maybe another 3/4".

What options do I have?

Front

Rear

Here is a better picture of the rear adjustment perches.. they're upside in this pic. but they go below the spring and the oem lower rubber perches are removed. i wonder if i took these out and put the oem rubber perch back in if it would lower it a little more?

you sure they go on the bottom and not the top?

maybe raise the fronts to put more weight on the rear?

It really seems like they are in the wrong spot to me too. Normally they replace the upper spring mount, and it looks like they should do that.

Please post a better pic with wheel removed.

I'll get a better pic. But the adjuster definitely goes on the bottom. It has a cutout that fits perfect over the lower mount area. Hard to explain but I'll let the pics explain it later when I get off work.

Thanks for the responses

Yes^ that is true. I could just put my spare cut upper spring mounts in too.

Make sure the collars are down all the way and install the cut spring mounts. Hopefully you will get the height you want, I kinda think you may have to slightly lift the rear slightly

Judging from the thread below, I would suggest removing the collar first and if that doesn't get you low enough then use the cut spring mount:

It looks like the rear springs taper in so I don't believe reusing the lower rubber will work without the H&R collar.

Collar can't be removed because the collar has a larger lip for the spring to sit on, the lip on the collar is larger than the base of the perch if that makes any sense... It would go through the spring if I removed the collar.

Yeah that's true. I'm going to try just installing my cut upper mounts and I'll see what happens. Pics to come.

I see what you're saying. My Eibach's do the same thing.

Old thread but hopefully burray is still around.

How much did you trim off the stock upper mounts? Your height looks perfect. I have the same coilovers and have the same issue you had. My collar is set to the lowest possible and I'd like it just a bit lower. Like you, I experimented with removing the collar altogether and learned the spring can't sit properly without the collar.

Stupid design by h&r putting the mount in the spring bucket. Makes adjusting them a process.
