Default Non Brembo to Brembo swap

Hey guys ive done some research and it looks like everything will just swap over after some rear brake dust shield trimming but i just wanted to double check.

My friend has an 05 anniversary edition Z and i have an 06 enthusiast with non brembos - he wants my brakes and some money to do the swap.

Just wondering if we have both in the air can we swap everything over no problem?

Also i want to order this stainless steel line kit from Z1

http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=2998

says it eliminates the need for the factory brembo hard lines, just wondering if anyone has used these before and how they liked them since the other stainless steel line kit on Z1 retains the factory hard lines

every thing should just swap over... other than the dust shields trimming, you could take the hub off the rear and swap the shields as well. just make sure you put the calipers on right sides .... when I bought my car the rear calipers were on the wrong sides and the bleeder valves were point down... good luck

Yep, everything is just a straight swap

I did the same with a friend when he sold his Z but I added Motul fluid, StopTech pads, and StopTech SS lines.

I am about to do this upgrade (non-brembo > brembo) with non-premium SS lines. They still look like they are really high quality products for being "non-premium". Maybe the others are made with Unicorn tears for speed.

They're fine, but make sure they're properly routed, especially the fronts.

yea i just wasnt sure if people had problems with binding since they dont have factory mount locations on them - may just go with the premiums

side note : swap went straight forward
