Default Rear Upper A-Arm: Who sells JUST the balljoint?

I was pulling apart the rear suspension for new swaybars and completely new bushings all around, but I had to hack up the balljoint nuts since they were seized. In the process, I shaved some of the threads on the balljoint itself.

I'd rather be safe than sorry and replace these; plus, they have 125k miles on them. Does anyone sell JUST the balljoints for the rear upper A-arms? I don't have the new Nismo bushings pressed into them yet, but I'd still prefer to just get the balljoints.

Thanks!

-Alex

No dice; in fact, I can't find the balljoint itself anywhere.

How do you plan on removing the old one?

Heat it, PB it, then press and/or air hammer.

Have you verified that the balljoint is actually removable? Because it isnt, unless you can figure how to remove it from the bottom upwards while keeping the arm in good shape (not saying its impossible).

The rear upper arms are not toooooooooooooooooooo expensive. About $400 give or take for both sides.

Thanks guys,

I took a better look at the balljoint tonight. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to have a 'lip' at the base of the seat. So even if I was able to get it out, I would have a hell of a time getting the new one in (which I still can't find) without ripping the boot.

I was going to post a pic of the arm in the **Steering knuckle ball joints??** thread to see if I could get some leads on a part number or something similiar, but there's no point if I can't get the balljoint installed.

RockAuto + Raybestos Replacement Arms with new balljoints + $45 a piece = solves all problems and wastes little time. Small price to pay that I know what I've installed will work.
