running 275/40/18 on hotchkis springs?
I want to run a hotchkis tvs system on my 03 touring with enkei rpf1 18x10.5's et-15mm all around. I wanted to know if anyone had any problems with a similar set up? I am running stock suspension and have 275/40/18 on the back and 265/35/18 on the front. I was thinking about buying all new oem style bilstein shocks as well since my company is a delearship for themand im around 118,000 miles. just hoping to get your honest opinion for a newer z owner! this is my daily driver thats why I'm going with the moderate drop. Thanks for your time.

I'm running 18x10 +20 with 265/35/18 all the way around on stock suspension and have a little rub with two people in the car. The hotchkis and tein s are on my list of possibilities as both are mild drops.

yeah its my daily driver so i want to lower it without having to buy a bunch of aftermarket toe bolt/camber kits. and where i live the roads arent the well paved so the lower the worst for me haha ive read that the hotchkis will work with the stock control arms, bolts, ect.
do you have all stock suspension?? because im running those tires on stock with no problems what so ever unless going over 80 and hit a bump on the freeway.

i am already running 275/40 all around on stock suspension..... so i already new it would fit no problem. thanks anyways
my question was if it would work with the hotchkis springs or not? yeah i am going to replace the shocks with oem style bilstein's or kyb's and then run those with the hotchkis lowering springs. i figured since i was replacing the springs and im down there might as well replace shocks as well. but i wanted to go with an oem style shock because i dont want to slam it around where i live.... more problems than its worth.

I'm running 275/35/18 in the rear and I'm lower. I wouldn't do 275/40 base on what little room I have. You have 2 heavier set people in the car and I can see trouble. Hell a 50lb bag of dog food in the trunk will probably cause you to rub.

i know the oem style shocks wont affect the ride height at all...... i only want to lower the car no more than an inch all around. and i couldnt find a coil over for my needs. thats why im going to replace the stock 350z shocks with either bilstein or kyb (since the are NON-ADJUSTING and will sit the same height as the stocks. than add the lowering springs to those shocks. does that make since?
And i was asking again if those tires sizes with work with the gradual .6-.8 lower that hotchkis says with the stock suspension components (a-arms/toebolts/ect.) without having to roll the fenders or any major mods.
but if you say that the rears will only need to be rolled thats the answer i was looking for. just wanted to double check you were 100% sure about the rooling the rears.

Seriously read more before posting, use some proper grammar and you might survive here. Sense and since do not have the same meaning.

Im running 265/35/18 on tein stechs on 18x9.5 +20 wheels. I dont rub at all I've also had 275/40's on the rear with no rubbing. I think the teins are a similar drop to the hotchkis but I cant remember exactly.

It will work just fine, it's actually a great setup. But as mentioned you will need a slight roll in the rear to keep from rubbing.
No additional parts are needed.
