What does the helper spring sit on? Is it actually threaded onto the perch on just a washer?

It's sitting on the adjuster just like any other spring does

So I figured out I need:
80mm long Helper springs. Says fully compressed they are 30mm
7 inch springs
Bc racing bucket adapter

Since my sprigs are 11.22 inches long with the 7 inches and 3.1 inch helper spring will make it about an inch lower in the rear. And then I can make it go lower by compressing the helper spring. It can go about 2 inches lower I figure if I compress the helper springs a little bit. But if that's not a good idea than should I go with a 6inch rear spring just to be safe.

It's similar to a washer, but it also has an inner lip that runs vertical to keep both springs lined-up with each other.

(I'm talking about where the 800lb 6" spring and the helper spring meet each other)

The helper spring goes fully compressed as soon as you put the car on the ground.

For static height, the only measurement I would consider is the fully compressed height because that's where it will stay. -Until you lift the rear wheels off the ground, or in my case with no rear bar, turn the car.

So it would really be the 7 inch swift spring plus the 1.2 inches for the fully compressed helper spring; which would be about 8.2. That won't run the risk of falling out of the bucket while driving?

The box for my helper spring said "CS100" on it. (I'm guessing the "100" part of that indicates 100mm, but it's just a guess)

It works well with my 6" spring and the hardware I showed in my STU thread.

Well if you think about what a helper spring does, it's actually closer to 10 inches at extension. Please try do more reading, to the point you understand what is going on.

Well according to z1nonly the helper spring will be completely compressed while the car is on the ground (and fully compressed the spring is supposedly 30mm). So I would have to jump my car off the ground or at least catch some air for my suspension to full droop (no more weight on one of the rear wheels) for the helper spring to not be compressed?

And that's what I said in my reply as stated above....

Since my Bilstein springs are 11.22 inches. If I was to get the 7inch plus the 80mm helper than it would make the new rear set up about just an inch smaller than the bilsteins are. It I was also debating getting the 6 inch spring just for more height adjustability.

Ok I've finally gotten my swift springs/helpers and the bc racing bucket adapter just came as well. Is the spring suppose to sit snugly around the 65mm i.d. Ring on the adapter or be somewhat loose?

It just moves side to side a little bit... In the picture you can see how there is more room on one side where the black washer is under the spring.
