Hey guys I just bought a 350z & it came with coilovers so the car was slammed too low.. I adjusted the front coilovers to raise the car but I could not figure out the rear. I see an aftermarket strut but I don't know if the rear spring is stock, aftermarket or coilover I couldn't figure it out anyone can help. I'll post pics of rear & front suspension
I tried to turn the the part that is inside the spring (I think the collar) & the whole thing turned but didn't do anything. Sorry I dont know the name of the parts im a newbie.
to me it looks like you need to take the nut and bolt off of the bottom of the coil, and screw it in... the use the locking ring and cinch it down tight
The perch above the spring adjusts your ride height; turn it towards the front of your car with the spanner wrench. Looks like it is maxed out (low).

Most likely, you'll need the suspension at full droop AND may need to further unload the spring tension with spring compressors in order to turn the adjustment collar.
IOW, support the vehicle at points NOT under the suspension and let the suspension relax (hang down), attach your spring compressors and take the load off the upper perch then adjust. And one deviating comment to Advan's comment is that to raise the car back up, you will need to adjust the adjusting collar UPWARDS (counter clockwise). Make sure you either count threads of the collar or take careful before/after measurements to assure even side-to-side compliance.
EDIT: I think I was wrong on this and Advan is correct. It seemed counterintuitive to me after I said what I said and then I watched the vid that monkey7 posted. Forgot that the lower spring perch moves downward while the thread is forced downwards. Ooooops. My bad.
You MAY need to unbolt the bottom of the shock to give yourself enough droop of the lower spring perch. (That was the only way I could muscle my springs in....then jack up the control arm to engage the bottom shock attachment.)
Not trying to thread jack, but I need some clarification for myself (may help the OP too). In this image (excuse the paint skills), the collars are at the red circle. Moving them to the blue location with the spanner wrenches will raise the car if I am hearing this correctly? Can anyone confirm this?

A simpler way to put it may be: The more threads you see above the spring, the higher the rear will be. Right now you don't see any threads above the spring, so it's as low as it can go. (This is only for the rear perch(es) that have the adjustment collar above the spring. The fronts are different, of course)

I brought it the collar down about half inch & the car seems to be the same height getting frustrated.. I have a factory Jack so I have to manually raise the car everytime & take off the wheels
