Thank-you for clearing that up for me.It funny because both CZP and Z1 both told me it would fit ... Back to the brembo search. Thanks again

Believe me, I thought they were going to fit as well... not fun. Fortunately I had money for wheels!

If I can save even one person from that headache, I'm happy

Speaking of headache, let me know if this is an accurate summary so far (I only ask because I was planning on this mod on my '05 in the near future):

Phenom's BBK from CZP rubbed with his 18" V2 touring wheels

Hazermang's BBK from CZP rubbed the 18"/19" GT wheels (so he got new wheels - jealous...)

JMII's BBK from CZP spun freely with his 18" V1 touring and 18" V2 touring (on his '03)

Squalz hasn't installed yet, but he got his BBK from Z1

Does all that sound right? TIA!

100% accurate

The only thing that stopped mine from spinning freely were some stick on wheel weights. Once those were repositioned it was all good.

Good deal. Thanks, everyone!

And... good luck, Squalz! I'm curious to see if there's any difference between the CZP and Z1 setups.

Still don't understand why mine fit and his don't, we both had '07 V2 Touring wheel and the CZP kit, the only difference is my car is an '03 so maybe Nissan changed the mounting points on later models ever so slightly?
i have the same wheels too, and i have no problem at all either

edit: mine is a 06, but that shouldn't make any difference

Phenom, are the calipers hitting the inner barrel on the wheel or thte inside of the spokes? Just wondering because I am running Z1 spacers of it were hitting the spokes so I would be good for sure.

Looks like I will be installing this weekend as long as my buddy has his lift free.

The top tip of the caliper is hitting the inner barrel. The spokes are close but they do clear.

The only reason I had for putting my factory wheels on was because I was bringing my volks to a shop to have new tires mounted and I wanted to bring the wheels off of the car rather than bring the whole car. I didn't have enough jack stands to put the car on so I was going to install the factory wheels. So it wasn't a huge deal that the factory wheels wouldn't fit as I just put the aftermarket wheels back on and took the whole car to the shop.

I am FINALLY doing this install tomorrow. Every weekend I had to cancel because something came up.

I will update with pics.

Hope everything goes smooth. Only thing I am worried about is flushing the fluid as I never did it before, and the wheels fitting. I have the Motive Powerbleeder so I am sure that will help a lot.

Fingers crossed!

Good luck with it all! You should be fine, post up how it went and your impressions of the setup, etc.

motive bleeder will make it easy... don't get fluid on paint! Keep pressure around 15 and of course DO NOT let the reservoir go empty.

I have heard to just pour the fluid directly into the reservoir instead of the bleeder and just use the bleeder as a pressurizer. Make sense?

So good news and bad news...

The brakes clear the wheels no problem and look sick!

The issue I had was that after connecting the lines I had leaks on both sides at the same spots. It is where the line from the calipe connects to the other provided line. I tightened all the way and it was still leaking. Not at the connection but the space between the larger nut and the rubber boot. I don't think I did anything wrong and thought maybe they were defective, but the chances of them both being defective I doubt it. So i used the one long line on each side for now as it reaches until I find a solution. Anybody ever experience this?

Some pics from the install as well as a pic of the line I had the problem with. Where my finger is, is where it is leaking.

Glad you got them on there! It blows my mind that it fits those and not the nismo wheels haha. Looking good
