Hey guys, so I got my 08 nismo installed on some Twin Street Basis, as well as SPC Camber arms and Toe bolts. I have not actually lowered it yet, it is set at stock height still(just barely lowered) and it does have a bit of camber on it, that we will fix. But anyways- I test drove it after we installed and when I am driving, the rear of my car randomly jerks to the left and right. Not sure why? Scares the heck out a me. Anyone having this problem? Thanks y'all.

^^^ This and I'd guess that the toe bolts are improperly installed.

Get it on an alignment rack - something that should be done before driving it any distance regardless. Almost doesn't matter if the camber arms "LOOK" about the same. One turn and it's off.

Alright, and by the way, the camber on both sides are not the same. The left side has a bit more camber than the right side, I was not planning on driving it much till the alignment anyways, but yea I was gon fix that with the alignment. Maybe the uneven camber is what the problem is?

Sounds like toe adjustment is way off. Probably camber is a contributor as well if everything is not even.

As I mentioned, my dollar agrees with jdmv35's comment about the toe being off, camber maybe some influence but toe is what's going to have the biggest influence on the rear stepping out as it's doing.

But then again, if you can VISUALLY SEE the camber delta R-L without a Hunter rack (or whatever), it's WAAAAAY off too.

Toe is different from the driver side to passenger side. The difference can be small enough that you it's not visible to the naked eye but big enough that it'll make your rear very twitchy.

An alignment is definitely required.

It took me 4 visits to various shops until I found an expert who could really get everything right. The guy that did mine is on a NASCAR team.

I strongly suggest finding an EXPERT alignment technician. The average tire store guy usually has no clue when it comes to coil-overs/ride heights and sports car suspensions.

After I got mine right, my 350Z's ride was LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FROM THE FACTORY. I could not be more pleased.

A correct alignment should. If it doesn't, then you have a bigger problem.

Damn! And I was going to say in my other post if the alignment doesn't solve it make sure you installed everything correctly but I figured one thing at a time.

Also, you probably wont be able to get toe into spec without those bolts in the right place.
