Default Aftermarket springs on Different coils?

I have had some Tein coilovers installed on my car a while ago and am a tad bit dissapointed that it won't let my car go lower than like an inch in the rear. So I am thinking about buying some lowering springs to put in the Tein coilovers. Is this possible? I wasn't sure because it would be lowering springs from one company, being put into the full strut of another company. I tried looking around for answer but didn't find it. If you guys do have any links to my answer please let me know, if not, please tell me if this is possible. Thanks guys

Hmmm, I've heard that some springs wont fit on coils because the springs are meant for stock struts

What Tien coilovers are you talking about. There are a couple tricks that can be performed to get them lower.

Thats what im thinking about doing. Not sure if they will be enough to lower to get rid of the wheel gap though.

They remove one collar, and normally do a spring mount mod.

So, would you believe that reason coilovers are popular for Motorsports is that they normally run a standard spring size that is readily available in different rates and length for fine tuning? Seems everyone buys them for street credit and has no clue on what they can actually do with them
