G35x AWD Front Upper Control Arms Upgrade for 350Z and G35 RWD
I purchased a set of Moonface products to replace on my G35 a while back. In case you haven't heard, Moonface is a Japanese high end suspension performance company. For their Z33 and V35 line of performance products, they buy genuine Nissan control arms and replace the stock bushings with spherical or monoball bushings.
Upon looking at my Moonface front upper control arms, I notice that they have decided to use the G35x AWD front upper control arms for the 350Z and G35 applications. The AWD front upper control arms are a direct fit for the 350Z and G35 and will require no modification.
The goal of using the AWD font upper control arms is to offer slight camber correction and better roll center on a lowered 350Z or G35.
Attached s a picture of the Moonface upper control arms for the 350Z/G35 from the vendor's site. As you can see, the marking says 4WL and 4WR on them, which indicate that the parts were intended for the AWD G35.

Here is another Moonface's own picture of a G35x AWD front upper control arm installed on a 350Z.
As you can see, it looks different from the RWD 350Z/G35 font upper control arm, and the shape is identical to the AWD front upper arm.
So if you ever want to have a slight alignment correction on your lowered 350Z or G35, you can give the G35 AWD front upper control arms a try.
EDIT: It also looks like the AWD front upper will also offer even more aggressive caster geometry! I cannot wait to put these on.
