Default Front End Clunk

2003
130k miles

In the past 2 weeks this clunk has been getting worst. Getting it while tapping on the brakes coming to a stop. Clunk comes on at low speeds on bumps/dips in a straight line and while cornering left and right. Clunk is from driver side front wheel area.

I got alignment today to see if it could fix the issue but still loud and clear. I've looked under the car for bushing failure but none.

I have (all under 1 year, however noise has been progressing in the past month with the past week being the worst):
Hotchkis sways
whiteline end links
whiteline shock bushing
whiteline LCA bushing
Whiteline Compression rod bushings
New ball joints from concept Z

However i'm thinking the issue is from my compression rod bushing (replaced with whiteline a few months ago)

I've attached this picture for you guys, is it normal for the bushing to ride up like this at one end? This is taken from wheel well driver side front wheel. looking in at the compression rod bushing

I too am having the same issue. We just replaced full lower suspension and wheel hubs upfront. It never made that noise before we did the work. Now that you pointed that out, I'll have to take a look at mine. If mines the same, I'd have to guess that that is the issue until somebody with no noise also shows they have the issue.

My front end clunking turned out to be an end link on the sway bars that had come loose. It's actually happened twice. Might be worth checking.

It's normal to ride that that, poly in this location is a bad idea. If it's touching it could cause a clunk.

How low is your car sitting ?

Mine is completely stock. It wasnt doing it before we changed the wheel hub ball joint, and lCA's, so I'm guessing it's what everyone else said it was. I'll also check the sways when I swap the engine next week. Car can't start, so I can't bring it around back to jack it up.

eh. i got it fixed finally. wasn't any bushing at all. was because there was a slight bit of play in the radius arm not seating all the way into the steering knuckle (opposite end of the bushing end).
