Question Rubber Spring Mount Trim

I have street basis coils for my z and I was wondering how much I can trim off of the base of the rubber section where the rear coil is supported. My problem is I want the rear lower. I already took out one of the rings, with one still left in there. Any ideas on other ways to lower the rear more?, other than different rear springs of course.

Please note I am not advocating nor advising this supposed, alleged "good mod"; but here (YMMV):

And don't forget to realign the car following. Oh wait, no adjustable camber or toe limited? Add the SPC/SPLs to this "free mod" wishlist.....

Wow- that Mic is like a Z33 Santa Claus. Giving out all the (supposedly) good links, while not supporting this half-azz mod.

Well, I'm the no-nonsense sprite (in the holiday sense) and I say: "Boys and girls, don't screw up your Z by doing any half-azz mod work to your springs. Leave your Z alone until you have some coin to DO IT RIGHT. Get some lowering springs and the components to get it aligned correctly. Now off to driver's school to learn how to drive those Z cars the way they were meant to be driven!"
