Default Tire feathering

I will be looking to purchase a used Z next spring. My price range is roughly $20,000. I will be looking at 2004's for that price. Is tire feathering still an issue to be concerned with after 2003. I have spoken with Nissan Service and they claim the problem has been addressed. I have also read some reviews on Edmunds.com and some people seem to still be seeing it on their newer Z's. What experiences have people on the forum had. It does seem to be a small percentage of people in the reviews who complain about this.
Some claim to be changing tires every 6,000 miles.

Thanks
Sgray

What purpose does another serve?

Sorry that I asked. I mistakenly thought that I could get some up to date information here.

I have a 2003 Touring that has had feathering two times (roughly around 10K miles). Nissan replaced the fronts for free. Feathering really aint a problem, just requires alignment or cross rotate the tires. Im still runnin on the OEM ****enzas in the rear and have 30K+ miles. My buddy has a 2004 Touring Roadster and has had feathering as well. Dont think Nissan got rid of this until 2005 at the earliest, if at all.
