If it has a clean title and things don't sound to fishy, go for it. It sounds weird but if they have the pink slip and carfax checks out fine, it's probably ok.
I currently own a coupe. Haha. I think I just going to stick it out a few years and wait until the new model comes. This has been my third Zs (1988, 1994, 2004),
Is 54k miles too high? Right now my coupe has 29k. . I think it all depends on who takes care of the car.
Thanks,
Tony
Did they say why the owner left the country?
I was on the other side of a similar situation...I had to sell my car in Canada when I left for the US, but couldn't in time, so I had my dad sell it for me.
Just make sure you run a carfax, and check for any liens on the car.
