New Buyer for 2005 model. Does it still have issues?

I want to buy a 2005 350z Enthusiast. I wanted to ask you guys if this year model still has the feathering issue and the fuel filter problem. What are some things i should look for when considering a car for purchase. Also, how much with how many miles is reasonable?

I appreciate any and all good advice.

My 05 has been perfect any 04.5 and up SHOULD be trouble-free.

My 05 has been great with the exception of the cheap plastic flip down door for the passenger accessory socket which snapped at the hinges after 10 uses. I replaced it under warranty and has not broke again.

I would think that anyone who is considering spending $30,000 plus on a vehicle would invest $15 in Consumer Reports. You must not be serious.
